Hello! My name is Emma Kropman, I’m 24 years old and the newest recruit of Koos. During the next six months I’ll be following an internship at Buro Koos in my birthplace Amsterdam.
I’m studying Design for Interaction in Delft, where a great deal of attention is paid to the user. I was also curious about the strategic application of designing: Koos turns out to have the perfect combination of both; The user experience viewed from a strategic perspective.
The past couple of weeks have completely erased my prejudice towards internships. At Koos it’s not about getting coffee, but getting work done. I dove in deep right away, and got to participate in a variety of projects. The second day I was already brainstorming with companies like Aegon and JustLease. Awesome!
During my internship I hope to become an expert in the field of innovation. That’s why I’ll join in thinking about a Koos innovation scan. This quick scan will help companies to benchmark their status regarding innovation and understand their status quo.
I got to learn a lot at Koos already, and in my everyday life I enjoy exploring and understanding new concepts as well. Following yoga- and kickboxing lessons simultaneously? Why not!
Every day at Koos is more fun and informative than I would have dared to dream. I can’t wait to see what the next couple of months have in store for me…
